About One Osteopathy

One Osteopathy offers a mobile osteopathic practice specialising in the treatment of humans, horses and dogs of all ages.

All equipment is supplied to be able to treat both you and your animals at your  location of choice.

Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine which recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions.

HUMAN OSTEOPATHY
At One Osteopathy, Principal Grant Kemlo takes a holistic approach to wellness, focusing on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as one holistic unit to treat the whole person.

Grant graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy from Victoria University and is a registered osteopathic physician and member of the Australian Osteopathic Association.

OSTEOPATHY AND PREGNANCY

Overcoming the challenge of providing a range of osteopathic treatments to support women throughout their pregnancies, Grant employs a special portable treatment table. This table allows pregnant patients to receive treatment whilst lying face-down to correct the various spinal, pelvic and postural changes that occur through each trimester.

Pregnancy causes a woman’s body to go through one of the greatest biomechanical changes of her life. Postural support and balance of the body through this period, aids in reducing / elliminating associated pains.

ANIMAL OSTEOPATHY
Having successfully completed further Post Graduate studies in Animal Chiropractics at RMIT University, Grant is a Registered Member of the Australian Veterinary Chiropractic Association and now provides osteopathic treatments for horses and dogs.

Grant is also able to integrate the treatment of humans and horses to achieve the best possible rider comfort, human-horse interaction and performance.

Treatment is available Monday to Friday with after hours consultations by request.
